Sorry...

Range Rover Blues:
Looks well, those 750s certainly look better, but a couple of things to bear in mind.

If it's a 3.9 then you need tyres that are rated to 108MPH, 'S' or 'T' IIRC otherwise they are not strictly legal.

I notice in one of the pictures that you had it on an 'A' frame, I don't know if you are aware but again these are illegal.  You can use one to recover a broken down vehicle if that vehicle is otherwise roadworthy, taxed and MOT'd etc.

I'm not in any way trying to poo-poo your new project, far from it I'm very pleased to see another convert to the comfy side of off-roading and I'd hate to see another member get into trouble for something that could be prevented with a freindly warning ;)

landymadjay:
thanks for the advice range rover blues

ukmudmaster:
I have a 3.9 V8, and use 7.50Rx16. They are rated at 87mph, but as I cant afford to drive that fast, I wont exceed the rated speed, do the the tyres then have to be rated at the top speed of he vehicle?
Thanks for an interesting point,
Dave
