The other thing to consider is, have you been supplied the right pipes. There seem to be several different exhaust systems for 200tdi discos looking at paddocks site. Might be worth checking that the two pipes are compatible.

I was thinking this too as mine bears no resemblence to that setup, even after taking into account the mods to mine.

called local motor parts place, they recomended one called LR111J whihc seems to be there own code rather than an official code, i got one of those and it has flared ends on the end of the back box and middle box.

local dealer took my chassis number and suggested NTC7119 which is what is in the diagram above and appears identical, the exhaust fits fine around axles and hangers etc, its just the join which seems strange, local dealer has ordered me an olive but for the MOT tomorrow I'll just have a go tonight at getting it right or use a flexible exhaust joiner thingy...

slacken all the bolts of put a thin bead of of gungum or fire cement on the faces and nip everything back up then when it's all in place and hnging correctly tighten everything up fully.
