Weird Karma....

I was at work driving down a road I know very well. It one of those roads you use daily with out a thought, however today was different, For some strange reason I started to think about a RTA that happened on the road... Its not even an RTA I went to and one I had long since forgotten about.
It was where a lad had hit a deer and then lost control of the car, hit a tree and been killed.

At remembering this I slowed down from a normal 60mph to around 45mph, not sure why just kind of did it. I carried on for about 3 miles when I saw a massive red Stag come out of the hedge about 300 yards in front, It paused and looked at me and then moved across the road.

I dabbed the breaks but nothing too sharp, as it wasn't needed, but I couldn't help think, If I had been going 60mph, would I have hit it??

Its just weird that I should think this, slow and then see a deer...

To be honest this is not the first weird thing that has happened, but one of the most striking...

I know it’s a little off the subject, but are they still called RTA’s or RTC’s? Just having an argument with my Dad!

Boggert M8 some one was looking over your sholder at that time :D I think at 60mph you may have clipped it if you were unlucky :roll: I bet it was a nice sight to see a red stag running free :D I ain't seen a stag for years only the odd doe :(

I'm lucky, where I work is very rural, you see the country side at its best, just lovely. The stag was a massive creature, I have never seen one so big so close up.

As for work... its what ever you want to call them RTA, RTC... I know some forces are so PC it must be called a Road traffic Incident, but not us.
