Hi im running a 300tdi discovery with front winch 2" lift and Flexi 2" arch extensions. Im looking for a tyre that will perfom well off road but must drive well on road have trips to scotland to make !! can any one advise am after 265/ 285 75 16 or similar.

Jake:
There is only one choice for your circumstances....
The BF Goodrich Mud Terrain.
A super tyre in the rough stuff and very comfortable and smooth on the road.
It's my first choice, every time

BF Goodrich from what i had seen they seem popular just unsure as too how theyd behave on the road.

Jake:
They are suprisingly good.
The only other tyre for your demands is the Goodyear Wranger MTR
I ran a set for 3 years and they were super'b too

Guardian.:
bfg muds everytime, ive just put our 110 on 35's but used the khumo muds, they look good and im sure they are ace off road, but onroad  they handle the same as bfg,  but are much noisier for some reason.
obviously muds on road of any type are noisy, but these are much noisier than the bfg's, and ive muchos experiance of them, they have to be the no1 allrounder.
