Looks MEGA. Will endeavour to getting round to doing mine later this week. Going to do mine slightly differently and see how it works out.

Having put a thread on last month about it and had quite a few responses Im going for 75mm pipe to try and get maximum airflow, hopefully shouldn't effect performance too much (fingers crossed).

Im planning to use some crazy flexible (but relatively speaking rigid) hose to make my bends out of the inner wing and also the corner- up the side of the screen. see how it works out anyway..... If I remember Ill take some piccys!

Also I think Im going to cut the bend to get the mushroom straight on the top and glass fibre it on the inside to try and get a smooth finish rather than going for a 45 degree pipe bend- see how it works out- Im not sure if my idea will even work yet!

Good to see more people rebelling against designer gucci offroad gear  !

Heloo suggs, that's the plan. Have it all in place and if and when my skills improve I'd like to be able to everything I want without thinking if it will all be ok.

I work in the hydraulics and pnuematics business, as well as bearings and fastners etc, so I'll be doing my own version of what cheviot 4x4 offer, I'll post some prices aswell for the individual components if it helps anyone. I may also be able to supply these as a kit at not much more than cost, but I'll need to see if it's a viable option.

Discoverytdi, my plan was to mount it closer but there are a few problems with estimating the cut hole etc, if I do it again it will end up being closer in to the pillar.

The mushroom top came from Paddocks which is only about 15mins from where I live.

Thanks everyone!
