Rob .... you MUST have the spaces in the right places. That is a mis-representation of the REAL number plate in order to spell something.

That makes it ILLEGAL yes. There are rules and regulations about font style, font spacing etc etc.

It's think its more for the comedic value, than getting worried with it.

If there is a space without anything designating it as parking or not, I will park there (unless it is a clear way or access to something etc)

A brilliantr thread, i`ve only just spotted it! ...then went outside to get some more firewood...whats the first thing i saw... my disco sat mid drive/lawn!

would have taken a photo but too dark, sure you can see the irony!

something which really annoys me is scooters parking in the middle of car bays ... you finally spot the last space in the carpark, dashinto it... nloy to hear that thud.. and a scraping....

still, as long as you get fully in the bay....

got some crackers at work from our boss... Audi.... taking up 2 disabled bays!    will try get them!

I noticed this one whilst I'd returned to the 110 to retrieve my'snap-box' this evening

Click on pic to enlarge

OMG !
Pity there was a council 'take away and impound' lorry close by......or a recovery rope on the 110 would have been a simular outcome LOL !

It won't happen again, I've been off a couple of days, but  when I went to pick 'small-child' up from school this afternoon (which is opposite the Hospital) they're erecting (what looks like?) a covered walk-way from the crossing to the bus-stop, which is just beyond where the Golf's parked

Saw one today - across two spaces in the local supermarket (the white line was pretty much lined up with the centreline of the car).

Is it just me or does anyone else find the ability to park properly decreases proportionally to the size of the vehicle? I've seen 22ft motorhomes parked perfectly (ok, taking up two spaces but no more, and they didn't really have much option) and little Corsas slewed across a space so as to make the ones on both sides unusable!
