Fitting bump stops - Help!

Range Rover Blues:
On the rear the chassic bracket is slotted, in desparation you can remove them with #2 pit spanner, LR special tool #1 (AKA a Big hammer, the edinbro' socket set etc etc) if you lever the old backing plate downwards first it will styretch and become longe enough to do so.
