Fitting bump stops - Help!

<< < (2/3) > >>

Disco-andy:
iv been running 235/85 muds, with a 2 inch lift with a camel cut, and with an additional inch of off set.  And i have lost both rear bump stops and have a slight rub on the mud flap bracket but nothing has been damaged. But have added shiny orange ones yesterday.

steve10:
thanks Cliff

Andy - if you fitted them yesterday you'll hopefully be able to tell me the size of the spanner i need - is it 13mm??

cheers

Steve

Disco-andy:
yep it was 13mm spanner in the bolt from the top and a 13mm socket on the bottom(nut) came off one end then loosen and slot of the other end.

meader:
i had to cut mine off the nuts were nackerd on the rears  it took me about 30 mins to get them off and new ones fitted but thats only cus i snapped a blade and had to hunt for some

freeagent:
when you re-fit, use stainless nuts and bolts.... then you'll be able to undo them should the need arise...
