It could be...

But listen out for clunking when your trying to get thorugh stuff where the difflock is under stress... I get pretty significant bangs from it if my co-driver doesn't hold the lever over.

I suspect it's just the linkage though.

You can adjust the switch on the transfer box. Make sure diff lock does disengage though :roll:
