solihull-mick:
Here we go again, this is a rebuild thread,  i have the skill and place to do this job, and to be honest i enjoyed every minute of it, cost is not an issue, Chris has no intention of selling Ruby, so why not rebuild it? put some pics up of your motor!

And as for calling my work a patch up, i love to see your welding, maybe you could teach me a thing or two, i dont make a good living on patching up cars,

Didn't mean to cause trouble guys, just expressing my opinion no need to jump down my throat Mick. Are you lot allways as friendly as this.

in our own little community we are friendly, as we all share a love fo land rovers
mick has restored that disco and now its going to last another 15 years, so, when all the td5s are rotted through and people are patching them up, that disco will still be around, with its value being through the roof

i suppose your going to say im a idot for cutting my normal back 90 up and converting it to tray back....now 3 months on, its back to a normal 90,
so what,

mick great job there fella, altho, it could have done with a nice silver " go faster stripe" down the side

Commercial business doing a favour...... wouldn't be in business for long......, unless someone else was being stung...... IMO

What are you going on about? people getting stung? makes no sense to me, not that its anybodys business if i charge for work or not, you cant put a price on helping friends,  thats the good thing about owning the company that repaired ruby, i can do it for free if i want too,  Hey lets face it im sure there are a few motors on here that have had help from companys that dont even know it, as the tesco add says "every little helps" or perks of the job perhaps, oh well im sure i can cope, but thanks for the concern,

and this is the reason why i have not been on mc ....... Mick keep up the good work my friend
