Disco 200tdi lift???

<< < (3/5) > >>

Range Rover Blues:
True, as the standard shock did not compress all the way down on a standard car, but turrets cost about the same as shocks don't they? and with longer shocks you get much better droop.  Plus with a lift you don;t want the original shocks on there unless they are already uprated.

I'm not a big fan of spacers or shock lowering, you might have noticed.

Sharpshooter:
So im going for a 2" lift from Paddocks. +2" Springs and shocks. The same as i had on my 110.

All i need to know now is, will i need to do anything else to fit 265 75 16 insa dakars. Ie cutting the arches? Cheers Wayne.

MuddyMachine:
I had to cut the arches for 235/85/16s

and they hit the top under the arch

Sharpshooter:
Is there much in it between a 256 75 16 and a 235 85 16 ?

clbarclay:
Yeah 265 are 30mm wider (15mm further towards/further wing) than 235 but they work out at about the same diameter.

Bear in mind that if they are retreads then they tend to come slightly over sized compared to new tyres.
