IIRC it's not as easy on the 300 TDi :?:

had a look at dadss 300 yesterday afternoon after loving mine and the actuator is behind the manifold so not easy to get to at all...

and that was the hardest part i found putting the rod back onto the actuator after shortening it...

What did you tweak the boost to on the 300 then?

i never touched the 300. too fiddly to get to...

might look into it as it makes sooooooo much difference.

Well. I bought an Allisport full width intercooler at billing yesterday. I fitted it in haste last night and was well pleased. I adjusted the boost preasure and the diaphragm, as per their instructions. I droveit this morning, and WOW.

But tonight, i have cleaned and waxed her, so i though i would see if i could improve it.

I actually backed the boost off a very small amount, and it hasimproved it.

So now i have a disco pulls like a train,and looks the danglies.

Smiles all round.

And yes, it was worth the money. :) :) :)
