take it Bleed valves are out of favour again?!
...dawes device?
may be an easier alternative on the 300TDi if the turbo is too tucked away 8)

hi all
for the last few months I have had a pish pish pish noise coming from the back of the engine in the car .
I have changed the exhaust gasket ,and the fuel return lines and tightened the injectors . after tweeking the fuel pump and turbo I went to mid wales and going up the big hill (and if you go north to south you will know the big hill it got louder and yes the head gasket went but not badly
It missed oil and water ways .
I stripped it and had it checked at work down to 2 thou and it was still flat
rebuild with new stretch bolts and gaskets total £63 result :D
It was defo blowing before tweeking so no complaints .
just thought I'd say now having done a head it was easypeasy and if you follow the torque maps that come with the gasket it's not hard so I am still happy with the tweek but now knowing how to do the head I want more umph any ideas???
