just out of interest......what time is it considered acceptable to stay up till??? Will there be a limit on the amount of alcohol allowable?...i can't comment on what happened as i wasn't there but am permitted a point of view.......maybe Langley 2007 should be billed as a family only show....or an alcohol free show....or even a "lights out by midnight" event

apologies if this seems slightly pedantic but whats the point of a get together if you can't party??

Xtremeteam:
having been involved in a light drink at eastnor & nearley all the events i go to, drumclog for one normally means lets see who can stay up the latest but i have an incling of who it was at LF & TBH i dont find excessive drinking a problem, however there is a fine line of which it is all to easy to step over like at drumclog with a said party who are now unwelcome due to going to far

(the scots like a laugh but a drunk rendition of donald wheres your troosers to a group of 10-15 scots from 4 yorkshiremen ) still hasnt been forgotten about

Jim-Willy:
I'm presuming this is aimed at me and mine......  yes we were drinking 'til the early hours last year not the year before and yes one of us got so drunk he was used as a table BUT.....  We played no music on purpose and were not threatening, we were probably laughing and talking most of the night tho' (ain't that normal?).......  we were sat around a wood burner and not stumbling around upsetting other partys.  We have no particular need to come back, so won't.

reading this thread with interest, went to the guiness world record attemp a couple of years ago. they had a quite area down the far end of the site, familys with kids or just people who wanted to chill. great idea then iff they want to party not to far to walk and iff they have had enough they just go back to theer quite bit. think its a good idea. maybee good for all people. them that want the peace when they want it and them that wana party all night. cheers alan......

We used to attend an event called trax at manby show ground, we used to take the rally cars and out of our club, there used to be about 30 of us that used to go, and one year that we attended, we only got about 10 hours sleep the whole weekend, and we never got 1 complaint, this was about 10-12 yrs ago, and you can see how peoples attitude's have groups in camping/caravanning,
i can remember when i was young the campsite wouldnt allow all same sex groups.
even in one small group this year on a campsite(8 people) we had the warden come over at 8pm telling us to be quiet, and we was only having a bbq and a few beers, never go again,

though living in wakefield , we have been to lf for the past couple of years, and its been pretty good fun, and we have met some fab and friendly people. but we dont camp, im not saying its massive but personally i find the trade/auto jumble side has got smaller over the years
