Tattoos

The Ant Hill Mob:
If you've been scratched across a tattoo and you can still see the white line, you could think about getting the colour re-injected.  A friend of mine has a dragon that curls around her leg from knee to buttock.  She gets it re-coloured every 10 years or so when it starts to fade, apparently it hurts more every time she does it, but better than going a nasty faded blue colour.

deepender:
Best leave the scar alone............in case the surgeon leaves his pliers in there and has to open you up again.

Sounds like a cool idea if you could do it.

Trying to work out what I'm gonna have done next. Something a bit bigger than the 2 I have at the moment I think. Definately got the bug :P

Dirty Gertie:

--- Quote from: "burgerman" ---Hi there, A quick question, can a scar be tattood over ??

--- End quote ---

Yes it can; best to leave it a good few years to allow the scar to heal fully and settle; (start using Emu Oil on it as soon as it's 'joined up' and it'll heal really well!!) I have a tat that goes part way over an old scar; the quality of the ink is exactly the same, on and off the scar.
HTH  :D

Littledan:
yes it can! but its up to the tattooist if they want to do it,

zip idea whould be gr8 idea as theres no much work going onto the scar so would be ideal,

also depends on how raised the scar will be, when i worked in a tattoo studio down my way they wouldnt tattoo over some guys scar because how raised it was, it was only around inch and half long but was rasised about half inch

but its all up to the tattooist if they want to do it
