Anderson Sockets
Bush Tucker Man:
--- Quote from: "landrover598" ---It's home brew, cobled together from an old door skin IIRC
--- End quote ---
The presence of a 3-seater bench could compicate matter (re; clearance?), plus there's the window surround trim to consider if I mounted it further up.
As previously stated, SWMBO won't take kindly to me chopping lumps out of it :(scared):
spinkster:
i put mine the the opposite side of the transmission tunnel to the handbrake but in roughly the same place (did that make sense?).....its out of the way of legs and easy to access when required
kevinf:
ive used electric welder sockets and plugs in the front panel of the seat box, covered up by the mat (the bit you lift up to get to the battery box top),ie the type you push in and twist.
just required three hole one for each socket and one for the isolator switch
with anderson plug at the over end of the jump leads to mate up with you guys and the small rear winch kit, then a set of jump lead clips on a short lenght of wire and anderson plug for connecting directly to batteries,
sorry theres no pictures, but im more use to hitting things with hammers
than computing
cheers kevin
Defender:
--- Quote from: "stageonesimmo" ---but I'd fit the thing pointing down so it doesn't collect ferrets and old ladies and such.

Or get one of these
I bought my Anderson Plugs from Demon Tweeks
madmatt:
I got my andersons from the local auto electricians but got the protective covers from the power store. I have mine on the rear crossmember, one on the front bumper and am about to fit one each side of the toolbox so I can plug into either side or either end of the vehicle! Overkill?? yeah probably!
