Do I, Don't I
Snooky:
Having spent a fair bit getting my 90 looking better and ready to off road with all of us in it etc...
After the Broxhead event she wondered if a Disco might be better as a family off road toy...More comfort for her and the kids, less noise etc
So should I? We don't do anything too extreme, play days and green lanes is about it, but would like to use if to go camping as well..
So should I sell and change?
Also if I were, what is the last year they made the TDi, don't want a TD5.
Although not sure how much I will have to spend, but needless to say it will need all the pretty bits ripped off and nice off road bits put on
Yoshi:
Get a disco, 1998 they stopped making the tdi iirc. The best one to get though is about an n-reg, cos they are alot cheaper, and dont have so much wrong with them!
Keri:
Do you want a disco? Or is it just your partner?
Snooky:
That is a good question, I always prefered Defenders, but I have to think about the family 1st and for that reason I guess a Disco makes more sense, although they are capable of doing more than I will need I know that to put all the kit on them cost more than the Defender, rock slidders bumpers, steering guards etc, but not looking to change again soon, and also depends on what I can get for my 90 I guess.
But also I would be looknig at putting a TDi into the 90 in the next year which will make it run better, but not eliminate the reason for the Disco, so I gues it would be better to sell the 90 as is rather than spend out on that side of it as well.
Rich_P:
For what you could get for the 90, you can get a rather tidy Disco.
