HELP !!! STUCK CLUTCH ??

<< < (2/3) > >>

burgerman:
Going to place a strop round a substansial obect and use a kinetic rope - drive off and with clutch down hopefully the force will free off the plate ??   what ya reckon ??              this will be low speed stuff and probally not on tarmac, remembering i have to start it in gear,

bezzabsa:
4 axle stands - start in gear - then apply brakes....repeat until you hear a nice 'THUD'... ps seem to recall that reverse is preferred...any one confirm?????

Range Rover Blues:
Try startinig it in a higher gear, 2nd or 3rd so that it 'shuffles' ie rattles the backlash, with the pedal down of course.  The more you do it the more likley it is to come free.

burgerman:
still very stuck  :(   even tried jacking one wheel up and statring in gear then "Dropping" it down off the jack, a tad risky but if i blew a box i guess i could do the clutch @ the same time    any other tips befroe i proceed any further ???

iomlr:
u have to take it apart! new clutch jobs done!
