<< < (3/3)

JimsMowing:
What about letting the car get to operational temps? Will that help the situation? I.e all the fluids will be nicely thinned and engaging disengaging easier?

Range Rover Blues:
I remember my dad used to have the same trouble with a Transit motorhome we had.  One year he was about 3 miles away before it gave up and behaved itself.  Getting it up the drive onto the road was a game

burgerman:
All sorted  \:D/   Basicly after most other plans of attack, i finally got her to a gentle slope and started in 3rd gear, then drove it like i stole it    Basicly covered about 10-11 miles in third with the tacho  reading between 4500 and 5500 on and off the gas with the clutch depressed,  and all of a sudden without warning  -- Jobs a goodun
