Im 24 (nearly 25) and insured disco first off when I was 23. It is my second car as well.
I have gone with Peter Best. Seem to get through first time and helpful. they dont give no claims discount just a premium off for young drivers instead. I pay £300ish 2rd party fire n theft. It was only £6 difference between a max of 6k mileage and unlimeted. guess what I went with!!!!
1 thing I have done that I have easily saved about 2k in total over 7 years insurance is pass pluss but you have to do this within a certain time of passing your test. you maybe able to do this and cost £60. :)
Also peter best doesnt charge anymore for mods as long as it doesnt improve the performance of the vehicle so rock sliders, snorkel, suspension lift etc etc doesnt effect premium. you just have to tell them each time you have done the mods (£15 admin charge each time) (so you tell em in 1 go n say you did them all on 1 weekend  )
hope this helps. mine is up for renewal soon :(
