Disco vs Defender

I agree with the comment about TD's.. my 110 had one fited and it ran like a swiss watch, quiet and surprisingly smooth - not the quickest thing off the lights but once on the motorway then 70 mph cruising was possible - hapier at 60 - 65 though!

Me and my wife are new to landrovers .She drives our 110 station wagon to work every day and we use it for camping and day trips etc.
My wife was the one who did'nt want a disco as i said it might be a better choice being that she would be driving to work everyday but she loves the defender and said if we were having a 4x4 thats what we were getting.
Glad i did i love it .It may not be as comfortable as a disco but you get used to it.90's are not big enough if you have a family and some discos are to nice inside for off roading unlike defenders which you can pressure wash out [only joking]
