Disco vs Defender

I currently have a 'm' 300tdi disco , and i like it very much , but for me the defender 90 is more pleasing to me and wish i had bought one first,

could i have a few opinions from defender owners on towing weights, seating and etc.... we have 3 children so seating would be important,

and what the chance of swapping with cash for one :wink:  :wink:

buy a defender. fit seats in the back, job sorted. towing wise, they'll pull the same as a discovery... although i'd feel more confident towing with a defender, but ours is a 110. bit more stable

if i had the choice between the two (which we did.. obviously) i'd buy a defender every time. theres some real nice discovery's out there, but they're not for me.

stuck driving my mothers at the moment if we need to go out as we have work in the pipeline for the 110 so its off the road...  i just dont like driving the disco.

i was looking on ebay, im not bothered about age as long as its been serviced etc...do 90's have bench seats in the back??

some do, some dont... just depends what someone's wanted or used it for really. if you want them you can fit them... .some have proper side facing seats in the rear rather than benches........ its all easy work anyway if you do or dont want them

your talking me into faster than i wanted, :lol:  :lol:   mmm thinking of putting 12 months mot on the disco and putting it up for swap with cash , before i start doing any mods on it,

will it tow the same weight as the disco ,our c/van is 1500kgs
