Not wanting to divert the thread but...
Is there any way of knowing Difflock is physically working other than the light?

Lift a wheel off the ground and try turning it with the others on the floor ?

:oops:   I was rather thinking of in the field.  The S111 I have has a definite hard/lumpy feel to the steering when in x4.  I guess if I don't get stuck then its working.. :wink:

Dangermouse:
S3's don't have a difflock, only the 90-110s to facillitate permanant 4 wheel drive.
