£400 road tax

They can't up the road tax to £400 for "4x4s" as mentioned by the media, even on new cars.  It's simply isn't feasible.  How do you define the 4x4 "Chelsea tractors"?  The reason why they haven't been singled out in the tax bracket is because there is no way to actually identify them easily.

of course it's a 4x4 tax .. and of course it's for the environment ..

and where did all this smoke come from, it's quite screen like really isn't it ?

now the thing that amuzes me is how we are all saying there should be more tax on fuel  :shock:

if the "idiots" in parliment hadnt come up with £400 road tax / road pricing etc and just said were gonna put another 5p on fuel we'd be in uproar

however if they were to say were gonna scrap the road pricing idea / £400 road tax etc and just put 5p on a litre we'll all breath a sigh of relief  :twisted:
