I haven't checked mine for a long time. The last check over three months while in Botswana, Namibia and South africa.
Roof rack fitted and jerry cans with other stuff on the roof and rack.
Various types of road from tar to sand. GVW most of the time between 3.300 and 3.400kg.
Fuel consumption 27mpg.


I do admit to an uprated intercooler and the fuel injection pump optimised. Better lowdown torque and the use of 5th gear limit.
Hey but that Southern African diesel is real rubbish.
