FOr me it's horses for courses.
The Greenlaning for a steady day and pay and plays for a bit of adrenelin rush.
It's always nice to combine both with a bit of caravanning and a social gathering,

Indeed...  just to qualify my first response...    I'm off to the Mud-Club "pay & play" next weekend, not for the off-roading, but for the weekend social.

If there was a pay & play nearby, I'd probably go along for a laugh...  I wouldn't travel too far for one though, as I prefer something like a competitive event.

I think paydays are great fun and great for meeting people also I'm not so sure that myself or my car are up to competition standard.Just wish there were more of them. :)

Nice gentle ride not knowing what is round the next corner. :D

Play & Pay are ok but I get a bit board after an hour or so. :(
