theres slack but where????

Hi people, just wondering if i could get some help with this, My disco has got a fair bit of play in something but i'm not sure where, if you accelerate and then let off it jerks as something takes up the slack and I have replaced the diff so it cant be that, is it the transfer box??? hope i have explained it well enough  :?  :?

Usual suspect is the propshaft UJ's or the A frame bush or worst case scenario gearbox output shaft.

ok, I probably sound a bit dim but whats the A frame bush??

it stops the rear axle from rolling backwarsd forwards and fastens to the top of the rear diff.

o yeah, I know what you mean! I'll have a look at that tomorrow. So you think that the output shaft would break before anything in the transfer box then?
