How much damage can a horse do?
Range Rover Blues:
Horses were around before cars and will be aroound after they have gone. Whilt I think that horse riders should carry insurance and do some sort of CBT too, in this case I have to say chav's fault entirely. There could have been anything in front of the vehilce he overtook, cyclist, horse, previous traffic incident.
Why do some idiots insist they know better than the driver they are following and insist on pushing past all the time.
Got what was coming.
Oh, and as for suing the horse owner, road traffic act 1974 IIRC.
dave_2A_2.25Turbo:
Yep - no chance of suing the horse owner - many years ago my father found out that you couldn't do that when a cow came over the hedge and killed his Fiat
Manicminer:
I was once told off by a horse rider for switching off my engine. I was told to pull over and leave the engine running so that the horse just takes it in it's stride and walks past. Starting the engine behind the horse after it's passed will spook it.
minty:

muddymesser:
