I love it too. never had any probs with it!

That's funny, cos I think it's rubbish.  It has a habit of losing messages - ie, you type something, it leaves your PC, and gets lost before it arrives at the other end.  Try having a conversation this way;  you can't.

It will also show somebody as logged out when they're not;  show somebody as logged in but not let you message them anyway;  etc etc.

Given Microsoft have had 8 major releases, you'd have thought they'd have got it right by now, but of course not, it's par for the course for Microsoft software.  That's before I even start on the clunky, cluttered user interface which has clearly never been anywhere near anybody with the first idea about product design.

I use it very grudgingly (with a different client) because unfortunately a lot of my friends are already on the MSN network.  However, Skype and Google Talk both work much more reliably for instant messaging.

Surely that is questionable  As it comes ready installed on your computer when you buy windows and the only really good way I have found to get rid of the programme and stop it trying to take over everything is to actually rename the folder it lives in....... I know there is a way to remove it completely but the only fool proof way to do that is edit your registry which you shouldnt have to do :x Can you tell I dont like msn

run-find files : find msmsgr.exe and hit delete

Install live messenger, go to options and remove the auto login and run when windows starts options.

Sorted
