Surely that is questionable :shock: As it comes ready installed on your computer when you buy windows and the only really good way I have found to get rid of the programme and stop it trying to take over everything is to actually rename the folder it lives in....... I know there is a way to remove it completely but the only fool proof way to do that is edit your registry which you shouldnt have to do :x Can you tell I dont like msn :lol:

windows messenger comes included...msn messenger does not.

and yes there are a few (small) differences.

but msn messenger isn't the same as windows messenger, similar but not the same.
you can have both running at the same time too

Might I reommend Trillian. That way you can have ICQ, MSN, AOL, IRC and YIM if you wish. It is multi-user and logs every conversation by default.
