PAS Pump Pulley
muck_truck:
--- Quote from: "Guy90" ---Tried that with a viscous hub spanner. the drive belt snapped so it just spins on itself. Can't see a way to lock it off. It's a bit in the way for changing the pump as is the fan cowling that wont come off without the fan coming off.

 snapped the belt ? the two ive done came of pretty easy one 300Tdi and one 200Tdi. on the 300 i just used a 32 mm spanner cause that fit but had to use a viscous spanner on the 200. one swipe and they came off.
could try wrapping the snapped belt just round the fan pulley and pulling it tight then give it a whack ?
Guy90:
Pulley is off
i'll try the belt method tomorrow.
extreme90:
use a air gun
TDi90:

extreme90:
