diesel-smoke:
thanks for the advice on wiring, but that has already been done.

The lights themselves need changing as they are starting to look a little rusty at the bottom.

Just looking for something a bit different.

Headlamp panel on the 89-94 disco is the same as the range rover classic so you could do a swap for those, not sure it would be an improvement though, you could get hold of  a set of later panels and change to the later disco headlamps (early disco 2 lamps also fit).

I am currently looking into fitting the late discovery 2 lamp units in my 300, I think if I remove the headlamp mounting panel completely and cut a little out of the wings they will fit, I am working up enough bravery to do it at the moment, Wouldnt mind trying to fit discovery 2 front wings and a bumper too but need to do some research first as I dont want to cut it about too much.

I had an early disco until I upgraded to a 300 and I used 90/100 watt headlamp bulbs which did make quite a bit of difference.

only thing that bugs me about them is that the lamps are not e marked,

Seems a lot for what are not technically legal
