I thought that too, but the person who introduced me to them was an MOT inspector ! he also owned a discovery though :D
Just dont bother with the blue coloured ones, They are no brighter just gives a crisper light, but the MOT inspector and the police dont like them as they look too blue apparently. Which is all a load of rubbish as some of the newer motors (including the Disco 3) with HID lamps all look very blue !
