why i'm moving

Woody I had exacly the same problem when I bought a house in Bootle, it was a great area in 1986 and then the old folks in the street moved to homes ect houses went to rental companies and all hell broke loose.
I ended up selling to one of the said companies just to get out.

Same story here tbh. We lived in Handsworth on a nice road full of Sikhs and OAPs. Houses started to get sold and bought. After one incedent in particular we moved. Kept the house and rented it to a single dad with 5 unruley kids to get our own back. He/they burnt it down eventualy and we got a complete rebuild off the insurance. Doubled the value so we sold it to a rental company.

just an update this week
the house 2 doors away has been broken into again
they managed to remove the boards from one of the windows to gain entry
next door has had there out house broken into

We were starting to think we were the only ones unlucky enough to have 'not so pleasant' neighbours, it's horrible not wanting to come home after a days laning or a weekend away but thanks to our 'locals' thats how we are starting to feel.
Sadly, we can't move just yet as I need to finish my training and get a job to enable us to move to somewhere we do want to be, but for now I get by by 'pretending' we live in a detatched house in the middle of nowhere, odd but it kind of works :)

most of the neighbours are nice and friendly
its the element that seems to be moving into the area thats the problem
when putting the rubish out you find needles empty bottles and cans as well as rubish dumped and this is where i fix my car and childen should be playing.
