Brakes don't seem to be all there..!
unknownmanxman:
You know you could just tighten the bearing up a little?
After i refitted mine they seemed to take a while to 'bed-in' then tightened them up again..
I went through three sets of brake caliper-piston seals before i found out that my wheel bearing had play in it...
Your creeping pedal might suggest a failing master cylinder..

I am going to give it a nip once i find my hub spanner, and see what its like from there as wont have time to change it before the end of the year.
This is one of the first bearings i changed, and does seem to be a bit of water in there, so i will change it sometime. As for the master cylinder, well, i'll make sure its nothing else first
Heard anything from the biodiesel yet? Last time i rang him, he said you'd be the first to know. After using the bio from Laxey, i've noticed it waxes over very easily, someitmes around 5c, which is a real pain! I've reverted back to a mix of derv.
unknownmanxman:
Lol.. he always says 'you'll be the first to know'. In reality, you have to ring him.
Yeah i knew it waxed in the winter, but i dont use it in the winter, only in the warmer part of the year..
Other than that is it going well for you?
Hub spanner?!?! cough cough, hammer and chisel! Lol..

--- Quote from: "Landy90IOM" ---what do ya know! Just had a wiggle of the front wheel, and a slight bit of wobble, so this might be the problem. Wouldnt have thought that would have caused it though, as i've had a bearing lubricated with water and parts of itself before, and never had the brake problem I have now...
Anyhoo, got a bearing on order, and i'll see if that solves the problem!
Cheers, guys
oh, by the way, did anyone else with the same braking problem find it to be the bearings?!

dunno aint looked at mine yet
danny

i stand corrected, now founf the problem, drivers side hub wasnt running on bearings was running on a super friction free surface, called dust
was only checked last month
owells another stub axle bites the dust
