racer was like that running a disk salsbury out back,fitted new shoes,modded the adjusters so they were adjusted up on the first notch & it had brilliant brakes

use the slightly smaller pedal to the right :P

what do ya know! Just had a wiggle of the front wheel, and a slight bit of wobble, so this might be the problem. Wouldnt have thought that would have caused it though, as i've had a bearing lubricated with water and parts of itself before, and never had the brake problem I have now...
Anyhoo, got a bearing on order, and i'll see if that solves the problem!
