Hassle on a legal right of way

dudes rest assured that the proper mtb users feel the same way and are on the side of the trail riders
i put this link on an mtb forum and the comments coming back arent suitable for this forum for their language (aimed at the bloke on the pushbike)
must admit that when ive been "offroading" on my bike i have been on the receiving end of ramblers whinging bout the ruts we create!... but you can clearly see where their footprints are but the bikes arent as damaging

Had this quite a few years ago in Wales, rambler tried telling me i was breaking the law cycling on a footpath, i asked him to show me on the map. I had to point out that we were not where he said and were on a bridalway. We cycled off after explaining the difference in footpath and bridalway and didn't even get a thanks for showing the rambler where he was on a map!

No I think not he was cycling - cyclists can cycle on a bridleway but not a footpath
It's funny but when I did the Gap last month never heard one complaint from any of the walkers or cyclists - even had one cyclist hold a gate open for us :wink: guess none of the walkers were ramblers :lol: :lol:
