Cant help on Animal board we had a sheet at work years ago and I was told it is used for flooring and walls where animals are housed?? :?  :?

I believe the ply is called Buffalo Board, there's also Hexaboard which is similar. Not sure how you install it though as you would need to seal any penetrations into it.

We used to use the recycled plastic stuff for lining out the walls of the horseboxes we used to build, can't remember where from though...!

I have seem 3mm marine ply used to board out a rack.
 Couple of coats of mat marine varnish, and it will stand a lot of harsh treatment.
 Pete.

I put rubber paint on mine so its not slippy in the wet.

NeilWilson:
I used 9mm marine ply finished with Blakes Marine Deck paint.  The final coat had the anti-slip granules added to it.
