does any one know what the stuff is that they used to cover the floor of the sd roof racks on the trek discos?
ive seen them in an old copy of lro feb 2001,and as i am thinking of boarding mine out , it looked like a good idea.
if any one has any other ideas please let me know.

did mine in checker plate, works well once you work out how to bend it over the bump

did mine in some very nice ply that i aquired from work :) and with the plans supplied from a fellow member i cut them to fit lovely jubbly

There is a product called Animal Board made from recycled plastic which would do the job and will never need painting or varnishing just a thought :)

would like to have a look to see what its like.is it lighter than ply wood?


the  trek stuff is like steel mesh flat profile with squares cut out of it,any one else seen it?

might just go down the ply wood route,but not sure about the extra weight,and drag,and what to paint with.
