I'm told there should be a drain both sides, about a third of the way forwards from the back.  But I've not checked mine yet so I can't confirm this.

Tyke:
Got two manual sunroofs for sale at mo . . . . unwanted, unfitted, some guy gave them me as spares . . . any offers . . . . .

The joys eh !!!!!!

lyndon:
Thanks for the offer Tyke. Theres nothing wrong with the one I have, except the leak. I think I have got it now. Just waiting for the test of time now. I have been testing it with a hose and to be honest its probably more force than its designed for.

I will wait for the test of rain later today.

PS there id definatley no drainage. Its one complete sealed unit the seal sits into.

trustyrusty:
had the same with mine  :(  found that the two drainage pipes that run between the roof and the lining from the frame were compressed so not alowing the water to dispense quick enough .  discovered this  after a new seal was brought.

lyndon:
Where are these 2 pipes?. Like I say. I have had it apart and taken the seal out and I can't see any holes or evidence of drainage. I have a metal gutter in which the seal sits. This is then flush with the roof. Water shouldn't be able to get past the seal and therefore no requirement for drainage. Its a one piece item and not a single hole to be seen.

Are there more than one sunroof type?. This is a manual front on a 1990 disco 1.
