headgasket - f**ked - £250
fuel valve on turbo blasting diesel onto hot manifold resulting in "cab smog" - pending - £??
couple of concerns around the chassis - to be patched - £200
changing insurance back to old car for 2 week - 20 mins this morning - £42

hardly surprising SWMBO is p*ssed off!

also headgasket situation assumes that the head is good once removed..  :roll:  why do i feel like sods law hasnt finished with me yet.  :cry:
