Yes he is right. There are certain vehicles which use some sort of synthetic rubber seal in the injector pump and fuel delivery pump. As for where £3500 came from I would like to see the bill. Also I was earlyer on about the fuel freezing in winter which I would think they was on about SVO ( USED CHIPPY OIL ). My fuel is rapeseed and they buy it in NEW.
Biodiesel made from a Rapeseed crop (RME) will not freeze and can be used at 100% all year round in the UK.

doesnt matter if it goes kaput anyhows..... as ill kindy buy it at a discounted price as its a non runner, n fit it in mine :twisted:
