Why Thank you - fair cheered me up on way to work  :D

Bush Tucker Man:
York's nice, but it's a bit.............. overly 'twee' in places.
If you get into the snickleways, you see the better (less restored side) & that suits me far better.

Just rememberwith York, it's definately a touristy-destination (hence can be pricy in places (as already stated) & full of Yanks & Japanese, but also some beautiful buildings.

Iwill keep my eyes peeled for the 110 or the hat at Driffield !

I'll probably be Mondeo driving??, & I'll try to wear a 'Mud-Club' t-shirt

HEE hee - while I've been typing this I have just received an email from Land Rover UK Forums - it's now after midnight and officially my b'day - nice of them to remember to send me b'day greetings cos I forgot all about it !

It's a nice touch on LRnet.com, I got a few derogatory PM's on my 40th from 'certain' members on there

The name; 'York Dungeons' could possibly be a clue to its location

There's also the maze made out of Maize   just off the by-pass (eastern stretch of the A64)

The road over 'the tops' from Egton Bridge to Pickering is a wonderful run, it's not too long since a good stretch of it was still gravel
Some nice fords at Grosmont as well.

Further south, Beverley is a nice market town (with a Minster), with Bishop Burton not too far away, with its village greens, duckpond & 'The Altisadora' pub.

Driffeild  & Market-Weighton are nice little market towns (M-W has Peter Blachards ex-military dealer close bym & he's got 2 Centaurs!!!)
