I was so surprised by this, I thought it was worth a mention.

Going up the M1 this morning, I was approaching the bit where the right hand lane was closed near Sheffield - guess which lane I was in! about 800m from the road works.  I decided to 'get in lane' and put my left indicator on.  Who should drop back to let me in but ... Mr. BMW!  I acknowledged his courtesy with a flash of indicators on both sides and a raised-hand 'thank you' through the back window - and got a 'you're welcome' wave in return :o  :D

Maybe a one-off, but they do exist!

More to the point, WHAT THE HELL was he doing in the middle lane that far from the roadworks ????? Doesn;t he know he OWNs the bmw lane... i mean fast lane....

Being a Saturday it was probably his own car and not his 'works'. No rep work and no hurry :wink:
