Braking
dew1911:
Our 110 stops damn well for the size of it (IMO) and it's only got drums on the back, they were rebuilt recently though and so do lock at the first sign of trouble.
If the pads are clean and the stopping isn't brilliant then is there enough fluid in the pipes? could be lack of pressure.
Range Rover Blues:
I'm using Green stuff both ends, it's £53 a car from padocks so rude not to. It does make a difference and the drive is quite good, just bin th stupid anti squeele stuff they are staring to fit, it's pants. I find I have a very wooly pedal after fitting a set though, might be time for some new hydraulic components, not sure which though.
As an aside, you can fit the callipers form a V8 CSW to the Range Rover vented disk as these are slightly bigger than the callipers use EVERYWHERE else, Bearmach do the conversion as a kit. Otherwise the 130 uses bigger disks and callipers I'm told. I like to stop too, especially as the Rangie is invisible.
