--- Quote from: "Dave" ---i think series 2 bits are a little harder to come by than series 3 but still about.

Only specific Series 2/2A parts are hard to come by. Most Series 2A and 3 parts are similar if not identical and will swap between each other quite happily. :D

Cheers for all the tips guys.
Went to have a look at it on Sat, promising the MRS that i's only be a couple of hours............ honest!
Problem was i did only spend a couple of hors looking at the series 2, when i went to leave, the disco died!! But would the MRS believe me, NO!
Anyway back to the matter in hand! On initial inspection it looks pretty good with all straight panels, reasonable bulkhead (foot well gone though). Had a look at the chassis, and its knackered at both ends with big holes all the way along the rails, so will be trying to source one for him. Also noticed that it has a brand new webber on it and recon master cylinders for both brakes and clutch!
Engine runs. Which is more than can be said for my disco!
So on initial assesment it needs, chassis, front doors, foot wells.
What do you guys recon? Is it worth it? What do you recon it would be worth at the moment?
Cheers
