<< < (3/3)

Skippy:
OH, forgot to ask.  Any suggestions of good places to buy second hand bits?  Trying to keep costs down a bit.

Cheers

spy:
I got £1600 for a tidy series 3 (pics on my website) but I had to wait for ages.  Seems to be plenty of reasonable series landies for around the grand mark nowadays.

I would say that its not worth fitting a chasis unless its a labour of love.  Its not a cheap way to buy a series landy

Just my 2p worth!

jjsaul:
if its free take it....if not give me a shout...im just down the road and currently have a car trailer in my posession

Rich_P:
As James said, if you can take it, do so.  Breaking it can be quite profitable if you're willing to spend the time to take it apart.

But do understand that you'll likely be looking at around £1,100 to rechassis a Series 2A 88-inch.  That is just parts alone, excluding the tools and labour costs.
