Series 2 FOR FREE!! He must be mad!!

Hi There

A mate of mine has been offered a 1965? S2A short wheel base with a running engine and loads of other good bits, for free!

I havnt looked at it yet, as he wants me to go over and asses what needs doing to it to get it back up to scratch, any pointers that i should look out for when investigating.

Chassis, bulkhead running gear are the only thing really all other bits can be got quite easy and cheep i think series 2 bits are a little harder to come by than series 3 but still about.

Check the footwells for rust and holes. Check the chassis over carefully and get a torch and look in the corners where crossmembers meet the ladder frame. Check the electrics out make sure its good because wires can be a pain.

if its all there and doesnt sag in the middle  -get it!!
even if its cream crackered he can break it and make some cash!!
