Wolfie,

OT - but this is the wing... was fitted for a short while to my 90 - until I stripped it!!! (then never fitted it to my 110")

No damage at all.  But does have a chequer plate section.

Is just all the outer panels, no inner arch.

Wolfie:
what sixe of tyres are you running??

205's or 750's?

had 750s on the racer & it was exactly how you describe, changed them to 205's with the 110 gearing & it would pull 65mph off road  :D  in high box,

9woulda been more if i hadnt ripped the front shocks off)

Wolfie:
We're running 235/85s, so effectively the same size as 7.50s. Don't really want to go onto little tyres for a number of reasons so changing the gearing is the current plan.

Having said that, one of the reasons, namely needing some clearance under the Salisbury, is in the process of being resolved.

Cheers

if you fit the 1.6 Tbox it "should" have the same effect as fitting the 205's

Devon-Rover:
Running a LT230R transfer box behind a TD which reduced the top speed to 50MPH where it used to be around 80 top wack. and that was on 235/85R16.

Also just as it might be of interest. The Hi/Lo & Difflock lever arrangement for the 230R is different to the 230T. the 230R has a curved lever whilst the 230T is straight.

Have you considerd changing the Differential ratios? maybe 4:1.1 to slightly lower the gearing which should accomdate the fact that you think that it is slightly over geared.

As i feel a 230R will have you screaming away on the longer straights and losing some top end speed.
