Lee_D:
Been chucking it down here today, North Staffs ... so much so the drive apears to lost it's layer of moss.  :)  Shame I didn't have some gunk to hand too.

Rich_P:
It's been raining here a lot lately too.  Must be the water evaporating from down south and dropping it all off over the Pennines.

What gets me is that we're a country surrounded by water, yet we are unable to harness the sea water as drinking water?

WishIhadaLandy:
it tipped it down here on saturday night but apart from that we haven't had much rain in the last week or so.

ChrisW:
We forded the river Alwen by Corwen at Easter and it was up to the bumper/headlights - did it again last Sunday and it was only halfway up the wheels.

Neil Jones:
We haven't had much rain down here, but when it does rain it pours, then the water just flows off the hardened surface.

I think they can use sea water, it's just a long, expensive process.

I think people need to take this ban seriously, if they use the water to keep their business open, they may not have enough water to live (nor may the rest of us for that matter).

I'll want to wash my Landy when it's muddy the same as the next person, but I would rather have water to drink and wash myself in.
